Bruce Springsteen Live! Exhibit and NUGS/Live Archives CD Cover Collections
As seen on the CD cover of the NUGS and Springsteen Live Archives CD FOx Theatre., Atlanta, September 30th, 1978 release and in the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Grammy Museum Springsteen Live! traveling exhibit.
A little over a month after the start of “The Darkness on the Edge of Town” tour, Springsteen and the E Street Band played at one of the smaller theaters on the tour in San Jose, CA. The take for the night? $19,082!
It was my first Springsteen show in California, having moved to San Francisco at the beginning of 1978. It’s a miracle that this photo survived as I was lifted from the front of the stage at the end show by a couple of Bill Graham guards and taken backstage where most of my film was confiscated. Luckily, I got out with a few rolls of film and one of my favorite photos can now be in your collection. As seen on the CD cover of the Springsteen Live Archives Capital Theater, Passaic, N.J., September 19, 1978 release and in the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Grammy Museum Springsteen Live! traveling exhibit.
